"Dream"

Hi, would like to share another "just because" cards today.  Dreams are good ....and this beautiful lady from Lost Coast Designs looks as though she is dreaming!
The tent card is 8x8 in size and has been covered with Craftworks Shabby Chic Papers, I added the border on the bottom using white acrylic paint on a Debbie Moore stamp.
The lady is stamped in Versafine Sepia and water coloured with Dusty Concord distress inks.  Her wings are decoupaged and highlights of white acrylic paint added.

The chipboard letters "dream" started off white.  I sanded these down and then added distress inks, Dusty Concord and and Walnut Stain to make them look "shabby".  You can see the acrylic paint stamping hopefully here.
The middle layer has been inked with distress inks, Dusty Concord and Antique Linen and again overstamped with white acrylic paint.  The corrugated cardboard has the top layer removed - I deliberately left rough bits on.  Lilac and white acrylic paint was swooshed over.
The butterfly is a Eline Huis stamp from Marianne Design and this too has been layered three time with each layer being painted with distress inks watered down.  Pearls added.
I would like to enter the following challenges with my "dream" card.

Brenda has set a brillant theme this fortnight (my fave style)

There are four layers on my card not counting the embellishments so I think it will be okay!

I love butterflies even though they have a relatively short life span they are free to flutter wherever they wish, making the most of their time!!!

Many thanks for stopping by!  Suzanne ~x~
